Can I download your files and use them for my project without having to pay you?

Well, yes! That is the definition of Open Source. Feel free to download my material, learn and create whatever it is that you pursue. There are no strings attached!

Can I download your material and get rich in the process while you putrefy in poordom?

If you manage to get rich by mass producing my designs and selling them ten times as much as what I charge, allow me to pre-congratulate you on your own ascent to the big bucks. No need to send me a Thank You check to my paypal account, although I will not return it if it ever happens comes in.

Can I use your designs to create evil weapons of mass destruction?

Yes, but only if you promise to take your gang of scum buckets into the middle of the dessert and detonate your existence to kingdom come without harming a single innocent ant. Or scorpions. Scorpions are frigging cool!

Can I get your designs, strip all of your information, put my own and then mass produce them to get rich in the process?

I would rather not. I will admit that I do not posses any voodoo powers, so there will not be deadly snakes crawling out of your bed at midnight if you do decide to so savagely steal my forehead-sweated, hard-worked designs. But I can assure you I will not stop on wishing for it to happen… Just hope “The Secret” is a sham!

Can I buy super duper cheap from you, and then sell at ridiculously larger prices while taking advantage of your innocence?

Yes.

There is some information I can not find on your web site. I was planning on consulting a Tarot Card reader, but all of a sudden decided that maybe you can help me with the answer. How do I do this?

Feel free to write to my email with questions and topics you would like me to expand on. I will most likely create some sort of blog post on robot.avayanex.com and let you know of its existence. Whatever information I can share with you and the world, I’ll do my best to post out into the ocean of motion control related information out there.

I would like to be a motor expert-guru. How many hours do I have to play with motors in order to reach said level?

I have been toying with motors, drivers and motor control through embedded systems for about 12 years (not to count that I really started toying with motors at around 5). This has been a passion. Whatever project I have undergone, has most likely required a motor of some kind (I am not saying they worked, though). In the mean time, I have been working for 9 years as an applications engineer designing embedded systems to control different motor applications.

And even today I do not consider myself to be a motor expert. Not because I am humble and want to look cool, but because I can assure you, I am not!

So this knowledge is something that takes a LOT of time to gather. There are so many possible combinations of circumstances, that in order to become a real expert you will need to allocate a few decades. Be patient! Luckily science is letting us live until 80 easy, so there is plenty of time for you to master this technology.

Will it be possible to ask you to design a particular board for us?

You can definitely ask! Whether I will be able to design it or not is a totally different matter. I usually decide to design something that I find is cool or that I need for my projects. But if I see there would be a lot of interest out there, I may decide to push it into the cue. You never know, I may even decide to name it after you! Ehhh... Or maybe not...
