Sample up to 11 TTL Sensor Inputs!
SS-PortaIn11: Your robot needs some form of sensor system to
help him preceive the surrounding world. Thanks to the SS-PortaIn11 this is now another easy step towards the art of robot making. The same powerful and versatile Super Stepper serial
command protocol which control so many different motor styles can now be used to sample switches, optical sensors, and any other TTL level signal compatible device.
This little board measures 1.5” by 2.5”. Just supply 9V to 12V for logic power and the three serial communication signals (Rx, Tx and GND). At the other side you have 11 three pin ports. Two of
these pins are used to power electronic inputs such as optical sensors.
Are 11 channels not enough? Worry not! The SS-PortaIn11 board has connectors to link more and more boards together in the Super Stepper chain.
- Sample up to 11 TTL compatible signals such as switches, optical sensors, reed sensors, hall effect sensors, etc.
- Settings fully configurable both on RAM (for runtime) or EEPROM (for startup).
- Up to 32 Super Stepper controllers can be linked to a single serial link.
- Use of easy serial interface (PC with RS-232 driver) or any microcontroller UART)
- Flash memory to configure system (takes care of initialization downloads at startup)
- RAM memory for user data storage.
